Top Charlottetown Restaurants Patios
Peakes Quay Restaurant & Bar
Right on the waterfront, this Charlottetown Restaurant has an amazing location and has been completely renovated. In years past, I was not a fan of the food as it seemed subpar. After some changes this year when you visit you are experiencing some delicious food and a completely renovated interior. This is definitely a must see location in terms of Charlottetown patios.
Merchantman Pub/Next Door
This is a new “Beer Garden” right on Water Street in Charlottetown. While it doesn’t have the water view, it is a nice upscale place to go and grab a bit or a beer. It features some nice additions like bean bag toss, a fireplace and of course zanga. The wood decor is also a nice touch. I’ve really enjoyed these types of patios in other cities and hope more Charlottetown restaurants come onboard with concepts like this.
Charlottetown Beer Garden
One of the most common spots you’ll find me in the summer on PEI is the Charlottetown Beer Garden. They have an excellent selection of beers as well as some amazing food options (GO FOR THE LOBSTER ROLL!). The menu is small but very tasty. With being located on Hunters Corner this is an excellent spot to start on the patios.
Hunter’s Ale House
Home of the beer bigs and probably best customer service in town, Hunters is known for providing epic portions on all their options at a very good price. Almost everyone in Charlottetown knows about Hunters and the great restaurant it is so I’ll leave this one short and to the point. Try it.
Steamers Boat House
Located on the wharf, this small restaurant serves up some really good grub and usually isn’t too busy since not many people know about it. What is liked most of all tho is definitely its location. It’s right on the Charlottetown Marina. We’ll call it an under dog of the Charlottetown restaurants scene.
