Alright, it’s fall. Well, almost winter but heck we’ve had an absolutely amazing fall with regular double-digit temperatures. What more could we ask for? How about some amazing fall foliage! As a photographer, I love fall. It is one of my favorite months and one of my busiest. Most of my calendars have fall scenes on the front and thats because I love the colors.
So to celebrate the magnificant fall we’ve had so far, I figured I would do up a blog post on 4 road you gotta travel down before the leafs blow away!
McKenna Road/Route 237 as well as Currie Road
This beauty of a road is literally right behind the Brookvale Ski Park. It is a magnificent road anytime of the year to go for a stroll down. The colors are gorgeous in this entire area and it is definitely worth spending some time on visiting.
Close by Brookvale is Ross Road, another great (and can be spooky) road to take a trip down. It’s another beauty which any vehicles should be able to travel down without any issues. And don’t forget to take a moment to connect with nature while you are exploring!
The Bonshaw Hills are gorgeous this time of year with the old provincial park hosting some great walking trails. However up the street is Peters Road which takes you down a pleasant drive to connect to the back of Bonshaw.
The County Line Road near Montague
This long road stretches on for miles. Taking you through some great looking dirt roads which aren’t afraid to show off their fall colors. I’d love to spend a summer in some of the houses down here, it’s absolutely great!
Now there are LOTS more roads around PEI to checkout, however, these are my 4 favorites. Hopefully, I’ll have some time to finish exploring the rest before the wind takes away all the leafs.
