Reversing Falls

Every 12.5 hours in Saint John, New Brunswick, rapids are created. When the tide goes out, it creates a series of rapids and whirlpools. When the tide comes in, the same effect is also created. The location sits next to Irving’s Pulp Mill, however, the tides are a very popular tourist attraction in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Saint John Sign/Fort Howe

The Hollywood, er, Saint John New Brunswick sign overlooks the city at Fort Howe. Fort Howe was built by the British shortly after 1777 and it features an amazing view overlooking Uptown Saint John.

Irving Nature Park

Probably the most popular park in Saint John, the Irving Nature Park is about a 5-minute drive from Uptown Saint John. It is a great spot to go for a walk and offers some great views. The beautiful park was created to preserve the area and protecting the environment. The large park is free for you to go and explore.

Uptown Saint John

Saint John’s Uptown is the new downtown! Sorta, well in Saint John anyway! Saint John’s Uptown is the vibrant area of the city. The city market is here, which is the oldest Farmers Market in the country. As well, the cruise ships dock here. Plus, there are lots of shops & services available via different pedways!

Rockwood Park

This place is huge, one of the biggest parks in Canada, Rockwood Park features a TON of amenities. From beautiful beaches, great hiking trails, beaches (skating & hockey), and a golf course.
